The Chungnam Provincial Office of Education held a "Capacity Building Training for Civil Service Officials" on the afternoon of the 20th in the seminar room of the Curriculum Evaluation Information Center, targeting around 70 officials in charge of civil service affairs from affiliated institutions and education support offices.


This training was organized to enhance the professional competency and work efficiency of frontline civil service officials, thereby improving the quality of civil service delivery.


The training covered topics such as the system and methods for handling complaints through the National Petition Portal, understanding and strengthening the operation of the information disclosure system, ways to increase the rate of original document disclosure, and understanding the petition system and related laws.


In particular, through collaboration with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, officials had an in-depth discussion on ways to strengthen capacity in the civil service handling process, as well as on problems and improvement measures encountered during work processes.


The participating officials also engaged in case-based education on frequently occurring complaints at the frontline counters and shared best practices.


Nam Dohyun, Director of the General Affairs Division at the Provincial Office of Education, stated, "Enhancing the competency of civil service officials is essential to improving the quality of civil services," and added, "I hope this training will serve as an opportunity to increase the efficiency and professionalism of civil service handling."
