This ordinance requires the superintendent to establish a basic plan each year for preparing for and responding to digital disasters, and mandates regular inspections of the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education's educational information systems to prepare for digital disasters.

Additionally, it allows for simulation training to enhance response capabilities to various digital disasters, and in the event of an actual digital disaster, requires that the incident be announced through school websites and that measures be taken to minimize damages such as personal information leaks.

Park emphasized, "With the enactment of this ordinance, an institutional foundation has been established for the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education to systematically prepare for and respond to digital disasters." She further stated, "I will continue to pay close attention and carry out legislative activities to ensure that the educational information systems and various types of information at the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education are safely protected and managed from digital disasters."
