Chairman Jung Youngbae: "Active Support for Sustainable Growth"

The Seongnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gyeonggi announced on the 20th that it held the '26th Seongnam Commerce and Industry Awards Ceremony' at the main auditorium on the 19th.

The selection of this year's awardees was made through a fair evaluation by the 26th Seongnam Commerce and Industry Awards Judging Committee, composed of judges from industry, academia, and government, on February 13th, selecting winners in eight categories.


The winners by category are as follows: △ Corporate Management Award - Daepyeong Co., Ltd. CEO Kim Dong-ju △ ESG Management Award - Seonil Dypas Co., Ltd. CEO Kim Ji-hoon △ Labor-Management Cooperation Award - CJ Seafood Co., Ltd. HR Team Leader Ryu Yong-chul △ Technology and Quality Award - Dongseo Medicare Co., Ltd. CEO Kim Sang-han △ Export Contribution Award - Hansol Life Science Co., Ltd. Executive Director Kim Young-rae △ SW Development Award - Hangul and Computer Co., Ltd. CEO Byun Sung-jun △ Administrative Support Award - Korea Electronics Technology Institute Director Kim Kyung-hoon △ Best Growing Company Award - Cleantopia Co., Ltd. CEO Kim Sang-young, with a total of eight recipients honored.


Jung Young-bae, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, stated, “In 2025, the global and domestic economies are expected to face challenges due to U.S. trade policies, China's economic slowdown, and sluggish domestic demand, placing our businesspeople in various crises.”


He continued, “I am confident that entrepreneurs will overcome all these challenges by turning crises into opportunities and advancing through vigorous efforts and challenges, achieving further growth. The Seongnam Chamber of Commerce will actively support sustainable corporate growth and fulfill its role as an economic organization to create a business-friendly Seongnam.”


Deputy Mayor Lee Jin-chan said, “Seongnam City will strive to create a business-friendly environment through various policy supports such as fostering and strengthening advanced industries, supporting small and medium enterprises and startups, and by listening to the voices of businesses to grow together with them.”
