Na Hwajin, a supervisor of the School Authority Protection Bureau who solves school problems in her own way, is played by Kim Muyeol, and Choi Gangseok, the Minister of Education who establishes the bureau, is portrayed by Lee Seongmin. Im Hanrim, a former special forces member and supervisor of the bureau, is played by Jin Giju, and Bong Geundae, a genius clerk of the bureau, is played by Pyo Jihun. Director Hong Jongchan, known for the dramas "Mr. Plankton" and "Juvenile Justice," directs the series, with the script written by Lee Namgyu, who worked on "Morning Comes to the Psychiatric Ward" and "When the Camellia Blooms."

The webtoon "Chamgyoyuk" gained popularity for its depiction of strong public authority but was criticized for portraying social minorities such as women and people of color as villains and punishing them with violence. In response, director Hong Jongchan stated, "I am aware of the criticism and concerns regarding some episodes in the original work," and added, "We will take responsibility and strive to create the drama with a more refined perspective."
