Oh Kwangrok emphasized the importance of CPR education that can save lives in daily life and proposed the following: ▲ expansion of the budget for CPR education ▲ unification of related tasks under the emergency medical department ▲ establishment of a cooperative system with relevant agencies such as the fire department.
In addition, regarding the reduction of the traffic inducement charge that he proposed and has been promoted since 2023, Oh Kwangrok requested the Seo-gu Office to ensure prompt and seamless implementation, and asked Gwangju Metropolitan City to quickly establish unified standards to minimize confusion in local districts.
This reduction measure is being implemented as a follow-up after the city ordinance was revised to allow applications for adjustment of the traffic inducement coefficient without a traffic volume survey. For facilities along the Urban Railway Line 2 section, adjustments will be made ex officio and the reduced amount will be refunded.
In Seo-gu, approximately 900 million KRW will be refunded for about 1,500 cases.
Oh Kwangrok stated, "Please ensure that the refund of the reduced traffic inducement charge is carried out promptly and seamlessly so that it provides practical help to local small business owners," and added, "I hope this will be a small support for small business owners who are persevering through difficult times."
