Busan Port Authority Launches 'Environmental Improvement Campaign' with Gamcheon Port Users

Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Song Sanggeun) conducted an environmental improvement campaign together with related organizations and groups around the Gamcheon Port pier area on the morning of the 20th.

About 50 users of Gamcheon Port pier facilities, including the Busan Port Facility Management Center, Busan Port Workers' Union, stevedoring companies, and Busan Port Security Corporation, participated in the campaign and collected illegally dumped waste and other debris.

Kim Jaeyeol, head of the Gamcheon Business Office at Busan Port Authority, said, "Gamcheon Port is a pier that mainly handles general cargo, so more trash and waste are generated compared to container piers," and added, "We will continue to collaborate with related organizations and companies to create a clean and safe Gamcheon Port."
