Previously, throughout 2024, more than 2,000 members of the Pusan National University community practiced sharing with nearly 7,000 domestic and international students and local residents. The university headquarters invested over 2.6 billion KRW to support the growth and development of students.

At this information session, hosted by the Pusan National University Student Affairs Office, programs such as 'Overseas Volunteer Group and Overseas Challenge and Experience Program' for overseas contribution, 'University Student Tutoring, Multicultural Mentoring, and Major Volunteer Group' for domestic contribution, and 'Curriculum-Linked Social Contribution Activities' were introduced.

During the event, students who participated in the 2024 Overseas Volunteer, Overseas Challenge, and Experience Program presented outstanding cases, sharing their experiences and providing useful information to their juniors. In addition, various prizes, including gift kits, were offered through a quiz event, which received enthusiastic responses from participants.

Choi Jaewon, President of Pusan National University, who attended the information session, encouraged the students by saying, "Social contribution activities are not just simple volunteer work, but a process of realizing the important values of personal growth and contributing to the local community." He emphasized, "Pusan National University will actively support students so that they can grow into global leaders through diverse volunteer experiences."

Pusan National University plans to continue expanding various social contribution programs and to provide ongoing support so that students can practice sharing in cooperation with the local community.
