Pukyong National University Launches Pukyong CEO Academy

First Class Entrance Ceremony Held at Pukyong Convention Hall on the 19th

Pukyong National University (President Bae Sanghoon) has launched the highest-level program for regional opinion leaders, the 'Pukyong CEO Academy,' and held the entrance ceremony for the first class at the Pukyong Convention Hall on the 19th.

This Pukyong CEO Academy, prepared by Pukyong National University as an innovative and differentiated global leadership program, welcomed over 60 regional opinion leaders as its first cohort, including Park Seho, President of the Pukyong National University Alumni Association and Chairman of Woojusealings Group; Kim Gwanghoe, Vice Mayor for Future Innovation of Busan City; Oh Euntaek, Mayor of Nam-gu, Busan; and Lee Seongrim, President of Busan Facilities Corporation.

Over the next year, Pukyong National University plans to hold special lectures every Wednesday evening, led by Vice President for External Affairs Ha Myungshin, by inviting renowned speakers from both inside and outside the university. The program will cover topics such as CEO leadership in management and finance, social engagement and responsible ownership, in-depth liberal arts including humanities, sports and arts, as well as domestic field trips and onboard seminars.

On this day, President Bae Sanghoon delivered the first special lecture himself, titled 'Pukyong National University with a Dream,' emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation and networks for regional and national development through educational and industry-academic collaboration between the university and the local community.

President Bae Sanghoon stated, "I expect that this will be a valuable opportunity for all of you, who are leading the future of the region and the nation, to grow as global leaders at our university, and for our university to innovate and advance further together with you."
