in Celebration of 30th Anniversary of Admission

The 8th Alumni Association of the College of Korean Medicine at Dong-Eui University (President: Lee Haeung) has donated 20,200,000 KRW as a development fund for their alma mater and juniors.

The donation ceremony, held on the 19th at the president's office in the main building of Dong-Eui University, was attended by President Han Suhwan, Vice President for External Affairs Lee Imgeon, 8th Alumni Association President and Dean of the College of Korean Medicine Lee Haeung, and Seo Suhyeon, Director of Dana Korean Medicine Clinic, among others.


The 8th Alumni Association of the College of Korean Medicine consists of students who entered the pre-Korean medicine program in 1994. Since 2015, they have provided scholarships to their juniors every year. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of their admission, they gathered the intention to raise funds for the development of their alma mater and juniors during a commemorative ceremony last month, which was attended by alumni, mentors, professors, and current students.


Dong-Eui University plans to use the donated development fund to improve the educational environment, support educational materials, and provide scholarships for students at the College of Korean Medicine.


Lee Haeung, Dean of the College of Korean Medicine and President of the Alumni Association, stated, "As the Korean Medicine Department at Dong-Eui University approaches its 40th anniversary, I believe it is now time for senior alumni to give back to their alma mater and juniors. I hope that revitalizing the alumni association will contribute to the development of the university, and I look forward to continued interest and support from alumni."
