Shinhan Investment Corp. announced on the 20th that it will offer the ‘Shinhan MAN Global Investment Grade Bond Fund,’ which invests in global investment grade bonds.

This fund is a fund of funds that indirectly invests in ‘Man GLG Global Investment Grade Opportunities,’ a representative global bond fund of the global asset management company MAN Group. Investment grade bonds refer to bonds issued by companies with relatively high credit ratings, meaning bonds that have received an investment grade rating.

The fund invests in 150 to 200 companies selected by MAN Group and aims to achieve excess returns compared to the index through flexible regional allocation depending on the global bond market conditions. It focuses on bonds from high-quality global investment grade companies not only in the U.S. but also in Europe, and is also available in a monthly dividend type.

Lee Kwang-ryeol, head of the fund product department at Shinhan Investment Corp., said, “With the Federal Reserve’s (Fed) full-scale shift to a rate cut policy, volatility in the stock market has increased, accelerating the search for new investment destinations. Investment grade bond funds investing in high-quality companies with investment grade or higher ratings are gaining attention.”

However, it should be noted that all financial products carry the risk of principal loss depending on management results.
