Recruiting Creative Ideas to Symbolize the Completion of 15 Famous Mountains

Hamyang County in Gyeongnam has launched a contest to create a representative character symbolizing the "Oreugo Hamyang" project, which certifies the completion of climbing 15 famous mountains.
This contest aims to discover a character that can symbolically represent "Oreugo Hamyang," Hamyang County's signature mountain tourism content, while also conveying a sense of familiarity and approachability.
Anyone interested in participating can download the application form from the contest board on the Hamyang County official website, and submit it along with their original character design and related applied designs via email by April 25.
The winners will be announced on the Hamyang County website at the end of May. The grand prize winner (1 person) will receive 3 million KRW, the second prize winner (1 person) will receive 1 million KRW, and three third prize winners will each receive 500,000 KRW.
The selected character will be used in various fields such as promotional materials and souvenir production for the "Oreugo Hamyang" project.
County Governor Jin Byungyoung stated, "Through this character contest, we hope to discover a unique character so that 'Oreugo Hamyang' can become an accessible and friendly content for everyone, regardless of age or gender," and added, "We encourage the active participation of all interested citizens."
