‘Onmaumteo (on-maum.or.kr)’ is a platform that provides all work guidelines, educational materials, and administrative forms related to life education, including ▲school violence prevention and support ▲character and civic education ▲student life education ▲student mental growth support ▲gender equality education ▲protection of educational activities.
The ‘On’ in ‘Onmaumteo’ carries three meanings simultaneously. It represents the hearts of ‘all of us (On)’ for the educational resolution of school violence, the heart that is always ‘turned on (ON)’ to watch over school violence prevention and character education, and the ‘warm (溫)’ heart that heals wounded children.
The Provincial Office of Education designed ‘Onmaumteo’ not as a simple information guide but as a user-friendly online integrated platform that anyone in the educational community can easily use without time and space constraints. In particular, it was built to enhance accessibility and convenience for new and less experienced teachers, enabling support for related tasks and issue handling.
Kim Young-gyu, Director of Student Life Education at the Provincial Office of Education, said, “With the launch of Onmaumteo, we will strive to reduce teachers’ workload by providing timely materials needed in the field, such as school violence and student life education,” adding, “We will always keep it turned on and watch over the field warmly to foster a peaceful school culture.”
