Intensive Inspection of Land Alteration Permits in 2024
Gimpo City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Byung-su) will conduct a special inspection of illegal activities within the development-restricted zone for 10 days from the 19th to the 28th.
The special inspection target for the first quarter is cases that received permission for land alteration in 2024, aiming to prevent illegal alterations (paving, cutting, filling, etc.) and installation of structures that violate the permitted purpose.
If illegal activities are detected, administrative measures such as correction orders will be taken in accordance with Article 30 (Administrative Disposition for Violators of Laws and Regulations) of the Special Act on the Designation and Management of Development-Restricted Zones.
Gimpo City stated, “Since development-restricted zones are areas that must be strictly managed for nature conservation and balanced urban development, we will do our best to eradicate illegal activities within Gimpo’s development-restricted zones through continuous crackdowns and on-site inspections.”
