Byung-Hoon An, in the 'Top 10' once this year... Needs a rebound Ahn Byung-hoon

On the 20th (local time), he will participate in the PGA Tour Valspar Championship (total prize money of $8.7 million) held at the Innisbrook Resort Copperhead Course (Par 71, 7,352 yards) in Palm Harbor, Florida, USA. This tournament is a regular event held after two weeks of 'premier tournaments,' the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players Championship. Top-ranked players including world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler (USA) and No. 2 Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland) are largely absent.

Byung-Hun An is expecting a rebound in this tournament. He has played in eight events this season, recording his only top 10 finish (tied 8th) at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He missed the cut three times and finished tied 52nd at The Players Championship. While his driving distance is powerful, accurate approach shots to the green remain an issue. If his iron shots improve, a top finish is possible.

Korea will be represented by Ju-Hyung Kim and Kyung-Hoon Lee. World No. 3 Xander Schauffele (USA), No. 9 Tommy Fleetwood (England), and No. 10 Justin Thomas (USA) are among the favorites to win. Peter Malnati (USA), who celebrated his first PGA Tour victory in nine years at this tournament last year, will attempt to defend his title. Five-time champion Sam Burns (USA) and Shane Lowry (Ireland), who has shown consistent performance in recent tournaments, are also players to watch.
