Ga Se-ro, the governor of Taean County in Chungnam, reviewed the progress of residents' suggestions received during this year's town and township visits and urged thorough implementation.

On the 17th, the county held a 'Report Meeting on the Handling of Suggestions from Town and Township Visits' in the county office's main conference room, attended by Governor Ga Se-ro, department heads, township heads, and about 30 others.

From January 14 to 24 this year, the county governor's visits to towns and townships collected a total of 358 suggestions, including responses to the abolition of thermal power plants, construction of indoor gyms, and building of parking lots.

Among these, 66 urgent suggestions were promptly addressed, and 188 are being processed as planned, resulting in a 70.9% completion rate as of the 17th.

Governor Ga plans to make active efforts to address the remaining suggestions that have not yet been completed, including reflecting them in the third supplementary budget.

For suggestions that are difficult to implement or problematic, the county will actively seek alternatives and make every effort to resolve residents' difficulties without neglecting any suggestion.

Ga Se-ro emphasized, "As this year marks the practical conclusion of the 8th civil administration, all public officials, including department heads, must do their best with a proactive attitude to resolve residents' inconveniences until the end," and added, "Even after this report meeting, I urge you to continuously monitor the progress and actively practice administration that can impress our residents."
