Ulju County Launches 'Small Plate Support Project' for Good Dining Practice Restaurants

On the 18th, Ulsan Ulju-gun announced that it will implement the 'Good Tableware Practice Plate Support Project' to spread awareness about improving food culture and to create a hygienic dining environment, aiming to establish a safe food culture in the region.

The support is targeted at general restaurants in Ulju-gun, and among the applicants, 125 establishments will be selected to receive 50 small plates each (80% supported, 20% self-funded).

The selection priority will be determined by considering factors such as whether the establishment has a hygiene rating, the size of the business area, and the duration of business registration. Establishments that have previously received support will be given lower priority.

Restaurants wishing to apply can refer to the Ulju-gun Office website and submit their applications in person, by email, or by fax to the Ulju-gun Office Resource Hygiene Division by May 23. Applications can also be submitted during existing business owner hygiene training (group training). For more details, contact the Ulju-gun Resource Hygiene Division.

An official from Ulju-gun stated, "We hope that this plate support project will help promote good tableware practices and create a hygienic dining environment, protecting the health of Ulju-gun residents and supporting local restaurant owners who are struggling due to economic downturn and reduced consumption."
