The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation is recruiting participants for the ‘2025 Stepping Stone Job Project.’
The Stepping Stone Job Project is a career-building job program that provides practical experience in the public and private sectors to unemployed residents of Gyeonggi-do and vulnerable employment groups, supporting their transition to employment.
The public type targets unemployed Gyeonggi-do residents aged 18 or older who have an income at or below 120% of the median income or have been long-term unemployed for more than six months, among other vulnerable employment groups. The private type is open to any unemployed Gyeonggi-do resident aged 18 or older. Applications can be submitted online, and applicants can choose to apply for either the public or private type.

The application deadline is the 26th of this month, and 100 participants will be recruited. Selected public type participants will be placed in public institutions within the province for six months from May to October, while private type participants will be placed in social enterprises and others for three months from May to July.
In particular, private type participants have the opportunity to be converted to full-time positions through individual institution evaluations. Wages are based on the Gyeonggi-do living wage standard, with approximately 2.53 million KRW paid for 209 hours of work per month.
The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation plans to support participants with customized employment counseling through dedicated career counselors and competency enhancement training to help facilitate their employment connections.
