Dobong-gu Selects 28 Leaders to Lead Resource Circulation Culture

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) is selecting a total of 28 'Resource Circulation Leaders.'

Resource Circulation Leaders will carry out activities to practice resource circulation, including ▲on-site monitoring of single-use item target businesses ▲resident consulting to establish a proper separation and disposal culture ▲SNS promotion of recycling projects. Before starting full-scale activities, they will receive two face-to-face training sessions on-site.

They will be organized into pairs of two per each of the 14 neighborhoods, and the activity period is from April to December. Activities will be held twice a month, and 50,000 KRW will be paid per activity.

The recruitment target is Dobong-gu residents aged 18 or older who are interested in the environment or recycling fields. The first round involves document screening, and the final candidates will be selected by lottery.

Applications can be submitted by downloading and filling out the application form from the Dobong-gu website from March 17 to March 28, and then submitting it along with the required documents via email to the person in charge. It is also possible to submit the documents in person at the Dobong-gu Office Resource Circulation Division.

The district expects that the operation of the Resource Circulation Leaders will help establish a proper resource circulation culture in the region. Mayor Oh Eon-seok of Dobong-gu said, “We support the future activities of the Resource Circulation Leaders and will do our best to provide related support,” and added, “We ask for the active participation of those interested.”
