I also ask for continued active engagement from the committee for the mutual development of Mokpo and Shinan and for the benefit of local residents, together with new chairperson Ko Seokgyu."
The Promotion Committee has taken the lead in fostering an atmosphere of integration by communicating with residents of both Shinan and Mokpo, organizing various seminars, summarizing key issues and promoting them, conducting outreach volunteer activities on the islands, and carrying out public opinion surveys.
Going forward, the committee plans to continue serving as a bridge for the integration of Mokpo and Shinan by offering academy lectures to train administrative integration messengers and promoting exchange and cooperation projects between the two regions.
