Online Applications Accepted Until April 15
Annual Support of 300,000 KRW per Pregnant Woman
Sacheon City in Gyeongnam Province announced on the 17th that it is accepting applications for the "2025 Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Package Support Project" for pregnant women residing in the city.
Eligible applicants are those who, as of the application date, are registered residents of Sacheon City and are either mothers who have given birth after January 1, 2024, or pregnant women as of the application date.
However, those who have previously participated in the project are not eligible for duplicate benefits for the same child, and pregnant women currently participating in the Nutrition Plus program or the Eco-friendly Baby Food Nutrition Package project promoted by the public health center are also excluded from eligibility.
Applications will be accepted until April 15, and each pregnant woman can receive up to 300,000 KRW worth of eco-friendly agricultural products per year (including a 60,000 KRW self-payment).
Applicants can access EcoEmall, the non-face-to-face qualification verification system for pregnant women, and select "Apply for the Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Support Project for Pregnant Women." Final recipients will be confirmed through eligibility verification and a lottery.
The city plans to begin product ordering and delivery starting in May, after selecting suppliers and completing preparations for supply.
Kim Sungil, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, said, "Through this project, we hope to contribute to the health of pregnant women by providing excellent eco-friendly agricultural products and to help expand the market for eco-friendly agricultural products for farmers."
