The Korea Federation of Banks Installs Joint Bank ATMs at Taean Market, Chungnam

Shinhan, Woori, Hana, and Kookmin Banks Participate
"Supporting the Financially Marginalized and Small Business Owners"

The Korea Federation of Banks announced on the 14th that it will install a joint bank ATM (Automated Teller Machine) operated by Shinhan Bank, Woori Bank, Hana Bank, and Kookmin Bank at Taean Seobu Market in Chungnam.

This installation is the fourth following those at Samcheok Central Market in Gangwon, Cheongdo Market in Gyeongbuk, and Buan Permanent Market in Jeonbuk. It focuses on revitalizing small business operations and the local economy, while improving financial accessibility for financially marginalized groups, including the elderly.

The joint ATM provides customers with various financial services such as deposits, withdrawals, and account transfers. Customers of each bank can use the joint ATM while maintaining the fee levels of their existing banks.

The Korea Federation of Banks stated, “The banking sector plans to expand installation areas by comprehensively analyzing the number of users, satisfaction of financial consumers and small business owners, and demand.”
