Daejeon Technopark announced on the 13th that it is recruiting 20 companies to participate in the 7th batch of the 'Corporate Listing (IPO) Program' until April 4.

The IPO program, operated in collaboration with KAIST, is a specialized training program that has been running for seven years to foster the growth of promising small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through professional education on corporate listing, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and attracting investment.

Orom Therapeutics, the first company to go public this year, and Erkos Agricultural Corporation, the second, are both graduates of the IPO program. Another graduate, IntoCell, recently passed the preliminary review for listing and is now on the verge of being listed on KOSDAQ.

This year's training will further strengthen case-based education in IPO preparation and practice, capital raising, and investment operations, based on customized professional consulting for each company.

To help address and resolve real-world business challenges, the program will also seek to enhance overall management competitiveness through mutual cooperation and networking with DISA (Daejeon IPO&Scale-up Alumni), a group of previous program graduates.

Eligible applicants are SMEs with their headquarters, factories, or major business sites located in Daejeon and have been in business for more than three years. The program is aimed at: ▲ companies aiming for IPO or M&A within three years ▲ companies seeking global expansion or large-scale investment ▲ companies wishing to receive professional training and practical consulting for corporate listing.

Companies wishing to participate can download the application form from the general business announcement section of the Daejeon TP website and submit it by email by April 4.

Daejeon TP will review the eligibility and conduct in-depth interviews with the applicants by mid-April, select 20 companies, and run the program over 16 sessions from the orientation on April 22 until November.

Kim Wooyeon, President of Daejeon TP, said, "As of the end of February, Daejeon has reached a cumulative total of 65 listed companies and a market capitalization of 61 trillion won," adding, "Daejeon TP will take the lead in actively supporting prospective listed companies to achieve high-quality growth."
