Ansan City "Subsidies Provided for Creating Private Parking Lots"

For Detached and Multi-Family Homes...
Up to 2 Million KRW Support Per Parking Space

On the 13th, Ansan City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it is implementing the 'Home Parking Lot Installation Subsidy Support Project' year-round to alleviate parking difficulties in residential areas.

The project support targets owners of detached houses or multi-family houses. If they demolish existing gates, fences, flower beds, etc., and create a parking lot on their own land, they will be supported up to a maximum of 2 million KRW per parking space within the installation cost range. An additional 800,000 KRW will be supported for each extra parking space installed.

For parking lot installation, a space of at least 2.5m×5.0m within the site must be secured for perpendicular parking, and at least 2.0m×6.0m for parallel parking. Properties where demolition or changes are not possible according to relevant laws are excluded from support.

Homeowners wishing to participate must apply to the Ansan City Transportation Policy Division before starting construction. Afterwards, a person in charge will visit the site to confirm the possibility of subsidy support. After being selected as a beneficiary and installing the parking lot, it must be maintained for five years. The project will end early if the budget is exhausted.
