Goseong County in Gyeongnam Province will officially open the Namsan Park Healing Camping Site, which was created with the goal of providing a stay-type healing and tourism experience to revitalize the use of Namsan Park, after completing a three-month trial operation last year and subsequent reorganization. The official operation will begin on the 14th.
The Namsan Park Healing Camping Site is a nature-filled rest area overlooking Nampo Port, where visitors can enjoy healing moments amidst the beautiful scenery that harmonizes mountains and the sea.
The camping site is a small-scale facility consisting of 12 camping sites, allowing visitors to enjoy camping in a peaceful environment. In addition, a bamboo forest trail behind the campsite connects directly to Namsan Park, where visitors can experience various attractions such as a barefoot walking trail and an observatory, offering a true sense of healing in nature.
Furthermore, a parking lot with 63 spaces has been built around the campsite, improving accessibility for not only campers but also all visitors to Namsan Park. In addition, a rest area called 'Tea House' will provide a pleasant environment for visitors, and various cultural events such as busking performances will be held using the 'Media Glass' installed above the campsite.
County Governor Lee Sanggeun stated, "The Namsan Park Healing Camping Site has been created as the optimal place for both local residents and tourists to heal in nature," and added, "We will strive to provide a comfortable space where campers and residents can relieve the stress of daily life."
