Joint Marketing Planned for Domestic and International Markets
Birdview, the operator of the beauty platform 'Hwahae,' announced on the 13th that it has signed a business agreement with Shinsegae DF and Shinsegae Duty Free to utilize K-beauty content in both online and offline channels, establishing a foothold for the global expansion of K-beauty brands.
The business agreement ceremony held on the 12th at the Shinsegae DF headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, was attended by Birdview co-CEOs Lee Woong and Kim Kyung-il, Shinsegae DF CEO Yoo Shin-yeol, and key executives from both companies.
Hwahae announced on the 13th that it signed a strategic partnership with Shinsegae DF to strengthen K-Beauty global content at the Shinsegae DF headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 12th. Provided by Birdview
Through this agreement, both parties plan to leverage their respective beauty data and content to provide K-beauty content to domestic and international customers of Shinsegae Duty Free’s online and offline stores, supporting the growth of beauty brands. Additionally, they will conduct joint marketing to strengthen customer engagement.
To this end, Hwahae will cooperate by ▲providing information for content creation such as intellectual property (IP), Hwahae emblems, AI review topics, and ingredient analysis ▲planning, producing, and exposing beauty content ▲developing systems for applying online product information.
Shinsegae DF will provide infrastructure by ▲creating K-beauty experience spaces through online and offline duty-free stores ▲promoting Hwahae content on its app, website, and global social network services (SNS) ▲offering special benefits to Hwahae customers when using duty-free stores.
Kim Kyung-il, CEO of Birdview, said, "This agreement allows us to expand the overseas distribution channels and sales routes for K-beauty brands," adding, "We will assist K-beauty brands in securing global competitiveness together with Shinsegae DF, a leader in the duty-free industry."
