According to the city on the 11th, the '2025 Korea Forest Expo' will be held for four days from October 18 to 21 at Gonjiam Ceramic Park.
The Korea Forest Expo attracts more than 200,000 visitors annually and is the largest domestic event in the forestry and forest industry sector, involving the Korea Forest Service, metropolitan cities and provinces, forestry-related companies, organizations, and universities.
This expo was secured by Gwangju City through a competitive bidding process for hosting the '2025 Korea Forest Expo' organized by the Korea Forest Service. Additionally, during the expo, seminars and workshops involving various forestry experts will be held to share the latest trends and technologies.
The city plans to continuously develop forest policy directions to advance as a wood-friendly leading city, ensuring that this expo is not just a one-time event.
