Guiding Land Transfer Applications and Procedures
Yeoju City in Gyeonggi Province is receiving great response from residents by promoting the 'One-Stop (QR) Land Transfer Guidance Service,' which inserts QR codes into survey result maps provided by the Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation (LX) this year to guide land transfer applications and procedures.
According to Yeoju City on the 11th, this service is a free service that provides QR codes linking to the Yeoju City website on survey result maps to applicants receiving land subdivision result maps from LX Corporation, guiding them through land transfer applications and procedures.
By collaborating with LX Corporation to provide the One-Stop (QR) Land Transfer Guidance Service, the city has implemented a special policy that prevents applicants from missing land transfer applications, thereby reducing costs related to re-surveying and permits.
In particular, applicants can conveniently receive necessary information on the complex land transfer procedures through the QR codes linked to the Yeoju City website, and for elderly citizens who cannot use QR codes, a separate 'Land Transfer Procedure Guide' leaflet has been produced and provided, gaining great popularity among residents.
An official from the Yeoju City Civil Affairs Land Department stated, “We will do our best to provide better cadastral administrative services through proactive administration to resolve citizens' inconveniences.”
