Mayor Ju Gwangdeok:
"We Will Spare No Effort to Support the Safety of Citizens"
Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Ju Gwang-deok) held a ceremony on the 10th to deliver a disaster response vehicle in collaboration with the Local Autonomous Disaster Prevention Corps (Leader Kwon Young-soo).

This vehicle support was promoted to assist the Local Autonomous Disaster Prevention Corps' disaster prevention and recovery activities and to establish a faster response system.
The delivery ceremony was held with about 60 participants, including Mayor Ju Gwang-deok of Namyangju City and members of the Local Autonomous Disaster Prevention Corps, proceeding in the order of △unveiling ceremony △vehicle key handover △introduction of disaster prevention equipment.
Leader Kwon Young-soo said, "There had been great inconvenience in transporting disaster equipment and CPR training equipment, but thanks to Namyangju City's vehicle support, rapid and efficient response has become possible," adding, "With this support, we will continue to do our best for the safety of citizens."
Mayor Ju Gwang-deok stated, "The prompt response and warm volunteer spirit demonstrated by the Autonomous Disaster Prevention Corps have been an example to many," and added, "Through this vehicle support, I hope the Corps' activities will become smoother and rapid response will be possible in case of disasters. We will continue to spare no support to protect the safety of citizens."
