On the 9th (local time), at the final 3rd round of the Cologuard Classic (total prize money $2.2 million) held at La Paloma Country Club (par 71) in Tucson, Arizona, Choi shot an even-par 71 to finish tied for 8th place (8 under par 205). This is his second top 10 finish in his third start of the season, following a 4th place at the Trophy Hassan II last month.

‘Senior King’ Steven Alker (New Zealand) defeated Jason Kassar (USA) in a playoff to claim the victory (12 under par 201). This was his first win of the season and his 9th career win, earning $330,000 (approximately 480 million KRW). Although Alker had little presence on the PGA Tour, he was the leading money winner twice on the senior circuit in 2022 and last year.

Yang Yong-eun improved by 4 strokes to finish tied for 25th place (3 under par 210). Wi Chang-su also joined this group.
