Recruiting the 6th Class for the Pohang City Top Executive Program for the Food Service Industry
Applications Accepted Until the 31st; Aimed at Nurturing Local Food Service Leaders
Pohang City is accepting applications for the 6th class of the 'Top Executive Program for the Food Service Industry' until the 31st, aiming to nurture specialized managers who will lead the local food industry.
This program is designed for representatives and executives of Pohang's food service businesses, as well as aspiring entrepreneurs in the food service sector. It provides essential knowledge and information necessary for food service management, enabling participants to actively respond to rapidly changing industry trends and shifts in the global market.
Participants will learn about food service marketing, trend analysis, cost reduction strategies, and more, allowing them to develop the latest management techniques and practical response capabilities. They will also have opportunities to network with experts from various fields and build substantial professional connections.
The 6th class will recruit up to 40 individuals involved in Pohang's food service industry until the 31st.
Citizens wishing to enroll can check and complete the required application documents on the Pohang City website and submit them by mail or email to the Graduate School of Business at Kyungpook National University (Daehak-ro, Buk-gu, Daegu).
Applicants will be selected through an interview process, and the program will run for 16 weeks over approximately six months, starting with an entrance ceremony at the end of April and continuing until September.

The Pohang City Top Executive Program for the Food Service Industry has been conducted in collaboration with the Graduate School of Business at Kyungpook National University since 2020. To date, a total of 130 local food industry executives and employees have completed the program, and the formation of an alumni network has received a positive response from the local food industry.
