Over 300 Public Profile Accounts Surpass Milestone
Danggeun announced on the 10th that the cumulative number of accounts registered in public profiles managed by local governments and public institutions has exceeded 300.
Public profiles are communication channels used by public institutions across various regions nationwide to inform residents about diverse policies and news and to exchange opinions. Launched in May 2023, the service is utilized not only by local governments such as city and district offices but also by public institutions including police stations, fire stations, and libraries.

Regarding the steady increase in demand for public profiles, Danggeun cited that it is the only domestic community where residents verified by region gather. According to Danggeun, this allows for more effective communication as news and information can be delivered directly to residents of the relevant jurisdiction.
Representative examples of public profile usage include Seocho District Office in Seoul and Hanam Police Station in Gyeonggi Province. Seocho District Office uses public profiles to convey various information such as local events and support projects. Hanam Police Station utilizes public profiles to conduct resident awareness surveys and bicycle theft prevention hashtag events.
A Danggeun Market official stated, "Going forward, Danggeun will actively support exchanges between public institutions and local residents, foster a vibrant local communication culture, and further solidify its identity as the largest local lifestyle community in the country."
