On the 9th, at the LIV Golf Hong Kong tournament (total prize money $25 million) held at Hong Kong Golf Club (par 70, 6711 yards), he shot a 4-under-par 66 in the final 3rd round to finish tied for 40th place (3-under-par 207). Starting from a tie for 51st place the previous day, he recorded 6 birdies and 1 double bogey. Jang Yubin, who joined LIV Golf this year, finished tied for 49th at the Saudi Arabia Riyadh tournament held in February and tied for 23rd at the Adelaide tournament in Australia.


Sergio Garcia (Spain) surged with a 7-under-par 63 to claim the victory (18-under-par 192). This was his second career win since his first LIV Golf individual victory in July last year. He received $4 million for the individual win plus 25% of the team victory prize money, amounting to $750,000, totaling $4.75 million (approximately 6.9 billion KRW).

Dean Burmester (South Africa) finished 2nd (15-under-par 195), Phil Mickelson (USA) 3rd (14-under-par 196), and Jon Rahm (Spain) tied for 6th (13-under-par 197). Kevin Na (USA) tied for 12th (9-under-par 201), Danny Lee (New Zealand) tied for 20th (7-under-par 203), Anthony Kim tied for 50th (even par 210), and Dustin Johnson (USA) finished last in 54th place (1-over-par 211). The next LIV Golf tournament will be held over three days starting on the 14th in Singapore.
