Additionally, medical support is being provided at four medical institutions?Uijeongbu St. Mary's Hospital, Armed Forces Capital Hospital, Woori Hospital, and Pocheon Medical Center?for disaster victims requiring treatment due to the bombing accident. Through one-on-one matching between affected residents and senior public officials, they are helping victims receive prompt medical care.
Furthermore, measures for damage recovery are being implemented, including △ conducting detailed safety inspections of buildings with Gyeonggi Province △ operating a damage reception center for residents △ providing temporary housing and relief supplies for disaster victims △ and emergency welfare support.
To help residents quickly return to their daily lives, emergency funds have been allocated for urgent facility repairs, and emergency restoration of infrastructure such as water supply has been completed.
Meanwhile, the accident resulted in casualties of 19 civilians (excluding military personnel), damage to 129 buildings (1 completely destroyed, 3 half-destroyed, 123 partially damaged, and 2 others including vehicles), as well as damage to farms including vinyl greenhouses and farm sheds.
Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon said, “We will closely cooperate with the government and related organizations to establish systematic recovery measures and continue providing support so that affected residents can return to their daily lives as soon as possible.”
