Samsung Electronics' marketing in Chile goes beyond simply renaming the subway station. The entire subway station has been transformed into a Samsung Electronics showroom to attract consumers.
This shows how important the Latin American market is to Samsung Electronics. Pre-sales of the Galaxy S25 series in this region increased by 31% compared to the S24 series.
The Galaxy Artificial Intelligence (AI) has also been used more than 1.157 billion times in the Latin American region alone since its launch in January last year. In the past five months, Galaxy AI usage has increased by 250%.
In particular, it has been identified that Galaxy AI is most frequently used in Brazil and Mexico. According to the average number of devices using Galaxy AI from January last year to January this year, Brazil ranked 6th and Mexico ranked 8th among the top 10 countries. Samsung Electronics evaluated that the Galaxy S25 series is establishing itself as a mobile AI companion in the Latin American market.
Anthony Joston, Head of Samsung Chile Mobile Products, stated, "Galaxy AI represents a groundbreaking turning point in how we interact with technology," and emphasized, "The Galaxy S25 implements a level of AI never seen in smartphones before, combining creativity, performance, and an intuitive user experience to open a new era."
The Galaxy S25 series is also extremely popular in Korea, breaking records. It surpassed 1 million units sold within 21 days of release, the shortest period in the history of the Galaxy series. This is one week faster compared to the previous S24 series. During the pre-sale period, 1.3 million units were sold, setting the highest record among all S series.
