The large-scale blackout that occurred in the downtown area of Nam-gu, Gwangju over the weekend was restored after approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The blackout was caused when a crane working on the exterior wall of a building came into contact with a high-voltage power line, resulting in a disconnection.

At one point, traffic congestion occurred on the streets as traffic lights stopped functioning.
