According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, temperatures will rise from midday, with the highest temperatures expected to be around 10°C in Seoul, 11°C in Daejeon, and 12°C in Daegu, similar to yesterday. Following a temperature difference of more than 10°C, the temperature gap between day and night on Sunday the 9th will be around 15°C.

On this day, Korea will experience converging airflows between a high-pressure system near Shanghai, China, and another high-pressure system over Japan, causing rain mainly in the southern regions. Rain starting in Jeju Island and the Jeolla region will gradually expand. Rain will fall until the afternoon in Jeju Island, the central and southern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Chungbuk, Jeolla, and Gyeongsang regions, with some areas in Gyeongsang experiencing rain until the evening.

Expected rainfall amounts are around 1mm in the central and southern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, inland Chungnam and Chungbuk, and northern Gyeongbuk. Gwangju and Jeonnam will see about 5mm, Jeonbuk, Daegu, southern Gyeongbuk, Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo less than 5mm, and Jeju Island around 5 to 10mm.

In the high mountainous inland areas where temperatures are low, rain or snow may fall. Snowfall amounts are expected to be around 1cm in the central and southern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon and 1 to 5cm in the mountainous areas of Jeju Island.

Fine dust levels are expected to be 'bad' in the Seoul metropolitan area, while other regions will experience levels ranging from 'good' to 'moderate'.
