Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Ju Gwang-deok) has finalized the '2025 Dasan Jeong Yak-yong Brand Detailed Implementation Plan' and will actively implement it with a total investment of 41.8 billion KRW.

According to Namyangju City on the 7th, the city plans to focus on strengthening urban brand competitiveness based on the brand vision and 88 detailed projects across four major strategies (development, support, reinforcement, institutionalization).


First, in the brand development sector, the city will discover brand assets that enhance the value of Dasan Jeong Yak-yong and carry out campaigns, as well as develop goods and content so that citizens can encounter the brand in their daily lives.


Brand support will focus on spreading the brand throughout education, welfare, culture, and administration linked to the 8th term election pledges. To this end, projects connected to sector-specific pledges such as △an education city full of learning △a happy and warm welfare city △a healthy healing cultural city △an administration city centered on citizens will be promoted to create brand value that citizens can feel.


Additionally, as a brand reinforcement strategy, the city will organize the brand operation system and establish a foundation for sustainable development by activating the Brand Committee, building networks, and holding forums and performance sharing sessions to strengthen brand capabilities.


Furthermore, to ensure systematic operation and sustainability of brand projects, the Brand Committee will be newly appointed based on the ordinance enacted for this purpose. The Brand Committee will establish brand policies, evaluate performance, and reflect citizens' opinions to secure consistency and sustainability of brand projects.


Park Sun-young, Director of the Culture and Tourism Division, said, "With the establishment of the detailed implementation plan for the Dasan Jeong Yak-yong brand, we have created a system to spread brand value throughout the city administration," adding, "We will continue to thoroughly promote detailed projects in cooperation with each department and strive to build a city with strong brand power."
