Approximately 25 participants attended the March Safe Workplace Day campaign, including representatives from the Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office (Director: Kim Junhui), the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, and safety and health officials from ship repair yards in Yeongdo-gu. They conducted on-site safety inspections and a mobile campaign at ship repair sites.
The on-site safety inspection was carried out by forming three teams consisting of members from the Busan Employment and Labor Office, the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, and workplace safety and health officials. The mobile campaign included distributing promotional items (wet tissues) featuring safety messages, chanting slogans, and promoting the four major prohibitions campaign.
The safety message (in slogan form) is "A Safe Workplace, Everyone's Happiness," and the four major prohibitions campaign includes: 1) Do not disable safety devices, 2) Do not operate unfamiliar machinery, 3) Do not work without protective equipment, and 4) Do not maintain machinery while it is operating.
