SKT Attracted 70,000 Visitors to MWC Booth... "Showcasing AI Competitiveness to the World"

SK Telecom announced on the 7th that over 70,000 visitors visited the SKT exhibition hall at the 'Mobile World Congress 2025 (MWC2025)' held in Barcelona, Spain, for four days from the 3rd (local time) to the 6th.

At this MWC, SKT set up a standalone exhibition hall covering 792㎡, showcasing artificial intelligence (AI) data center solutions and AI technologies for mobile communications. The 'Fira Gran Via' Hall 3, where the SKT booth was located, is home to major global ICT companies and is considered the most visited area by attendees.

The SKT exhibition hall at MWC25 was divided into zones for Network AI, AI Data Center (DC), AI Platform, AI Service, and AI Alliance. A large media art installation placed at the main entrance of the exhibition introduced the 'AI Infrastructure Super Highway' strategy through 18 moving LED panels.

Major foreign media outlets such as CNBC and Bloomberg also visited the SKT exhibition hall for on-site coverage and interviews.

SKT also achieved collaborative results with various AI companies. On the opening day of MWC, SKT and its partners in the Global Telco AI Alliance, including Deutsche Telekom, e& Group, Singtel Group, and SoftBank, agreed to strengthen AI cooperation.

Partnerships were also reinforced to acquire core technological capabilities for AI data centers. SKT signed a partnership with Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, to collaborate on AI data center MEP (mechanical, electrical, power distribution) systems. Additionally, SKT signed a memorandum of understanding with Giga Computing for the development of next-generation cooling technologies and with Ellis Group for cooperation in the AI data center modular sector.
