At 2 p.m. that day, about 100 supporters of Kim Jeongo, who had supported him during the first round of the Democratic Party primary, gathered at Choi Hwasam's campaign office and stated, "We feel deep anger and a sense of betrayal over Kim Jeongo's declaration of support for candidate Lee Jaejong," adding, "Kim Jeongo ignored the opinions of his loyal supporters for his own personal ambition and gain, and by siding with Lee Jaejong, he has left a deep wound in the hearts of his supporters."
