On the opening day, the 8th, at 3:15 PM, “Hondul Hondul” by 231 and Seonamjae will be held at the Miryang Arena Fortress Theater, followed by the performance “Bikkeuki’s Slightly Happy Gift” by the Thieves’ Group, offering a time for both children and parents to laugh together.

Outdoor fringe performances are also abundantly prepared. Thirteen popular works such as “Puppet Box” and “Tiger Uzbek Show” will welcome young audiences at the Miryang Arena Fortress Theater.

There are also plenty of family plays that the whole family can empathize with and enjoy together. On the 8th at 11 AM, the Miryang Theater Dreaming Theater will host the Miryang Troupe’s “Princess Emergency Poop,” and various family plays will be staged every week to bring laughter and hope to the audience.

Experience programs include Experience Land to foster children’s creativity, zip lines, air bumper cars, pedal boats, and blacklight experiences, as well as a roller rink experience that will revive memories for the parent generation.

Additionally, “Mom and Dad’s Challenge,” a small challenge program for parents, will enhance family bonds and heighten the festival atmosphere through heated competitions with small prizes.

Side events include free screenings of popular animations such as Tom and Jerry, Frozen, and Aladdin, along with spaces where visitors can enjoy various foods. During the event period, a children-only tourist train called the Canned Train will operate, allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Miryang Arena.

The closing performance, “Anyafo: African Rhythm and Passion,” held at 3 PM on the last day, the 30th, at the Miryang Arena Fortress Theater, will be an audience-participation show where attendees can feel the passion of African music and dance, marking the grand finale of the festival.

Detailed information about the festival can be found on the official blog of the Miryang Culture and Tourism Foundation.

Mayor Ahn Byung-gu stated, “Miryang, selected as this year’s cultural city, will now take a step forward as a center of culture and arts. Miryang Arena will be a space where children nurture dreams and hopes and a cultural and artistic venue where all generations can come together.” He emphasized, “Not only this festival but also continuously developing diverse cultural content that families can enjoy together, we will create a city where many want to visit, stay, and settle?a Miryang where culture breathes.”
