The training room, designed based on the Boeing B747 model, is equipped with an aircraft door, overwing emergency exit, cabin mock-up, oxygen masks, public address system, and emergency equipment, providing an environment similar to actual field conditions.
Through this facility, Jeonju University expects to offer students aspiring to enter the aviation industry or become cabin crew members a more realistic educational experience and to systematically enhance the practical skills required in the aviation sector.
Ryu Inpyeong, head of the Department of Tourism Management at Jeonju University, said, "It is very meaningful that students can now receive practical education needed in the aviation industry," and added, "We will continue to expand cooperation with various airlines and accelerate the training of aviation service professionals with specialized competencies."
Recognizing the importance of cooperation between the local community and the university, Jeonju University plans to open the Aviation Service Training Room to the public and offer various programs such as aviation safety education, cabin service experience, and emergency response workshops.
Through these efforts, the university aims not only to provide local residents with knowledge and hands-on experience related to the aviation industry, but also to further strengthen its social responsibility as an educational institution.
