‘All-Out Effort to Prevent Wildfires, Landslides, and Forest Pests’... Ulleung-gun, Forest Job Launch Ceremony

About 70 people attended the launching ceremony, including wildfire monitors, wildfire specialized prevention and suppression teams, landslide site prevention teams, pine wilt disease surveillance officers, infected wood movement control post officers, and forest management patrols.

Safety accident prevention and industrial safety education were conducted, and paramedics from the Ulleung 119 Safety Center of Pohang Southern Fire Station provided training on mountain safety accident prevention and emergency treatment procedures in case of accidents.

Nam Han-kwon, the county governor, said, “Please take pride in cultivating and protecting Ulleungdo’s natural forest resources,” and added, “Please pay special attention to the personal safety of participants.”
