"Realizing Warm Ulleung Education"… Ulleung Office of Education, Education Superintendent Dongshin Lee Inauguration

Dongshin Lee (58), the 40th Superintendent of Education at the Gyeongbuk Ulleung Office of Education, took office on the 1st and began his duties.

Superintendent Dongshin Lee graduated from Daegu Seonggwang High School and Yeungnam University College of Education, majoring in Music Education.

After starting his teaching career in 1996 at Geumo Technical High School, he taught for 21 years at seven schools including Yeongyang Middle School, Ulleung Comprehensive High School, and Yeongyang High School. He then served as vice principal at Jinbo High School, researcher at Sangju Student Training Center, supervisor at Sangju Office of Education, and was principal of Geumcheon High School for eight years.

New Superintendent Dongshin Lee said, “I am very happy to return to Ulleungdo, my second hometown where I worked as a teacher, after 25 years,” and added, “I will do my best together with the Ulleung education family to realize warm Gyeongbuk education and increase satisfaction among education consumers.”
