HFR mobile, a subsidiary of HFR, announced that Minister Yusangim of the Ministry of Science and ICT visited the HFR mobile booth at Mobile World Congress 2025 (MWC 2025) held in Barcelona, Spain. HFR mobile proposed support measures for the digital transformation of South Korean manufacturing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies.
Approximately 98% of all companies in South Korea are SMEs and mid-sized companies. HFR mobile introduced a new business model called ‘Pay as you Earn’ that allows domestic SMEs and mid-sized companies to easily adopt the Ieum 5G specialized network (hereinafter Ieum 5G) technology. This model requires payment of a small fee only when results are achieved, and no payment if there are no results. HFR mobile actively requested interest and support from the Ministry of Science and ICT.
The business model proposed by HFR mobile supports SMEs and mid-sized companies with limited financial resources to efficiently establish production environments through smart factories, remote control, and more. This business support is provided exclusively to SMEs and mid-sized companies.
Lee Ilyoung, CEO of HFR mobile, stated, “We will actively support South Korea’s manufacturing SMEs and mid-sized companies to gain global competitiveness through digital transformation.”
