Samzzimzzim Donates 10 Million KRW to Uyang Foundation for Low-Income Elderly

Over 44,800 Participants Join the Campaign

Javis & Villains, the operator of the tax assistance service 'Samzzumzzum,' announced on the 4th that it donated 10 million KRW to the social welfare corporation Uyang in celebration of Taxpayer's Day.

This donation was made together with customers who participated in Samzzumzzum's Lunar New Year event 'Grandma's Lunar New Year Table,' held in collaboration with 'Shin Year Market' in January. For each customer participation, a donation of 303 KRW was accumulated, and with a total of 44,882 participations in the campaign, Samzzumzzum easily reached its maximum self-raised donation goal of 10 million KRW.

The donation that Samzzumzzum delivered to the Uyang Foundation will be used to support low-income vulnerable groups who sustain their livelihoods through collecting waste paper and public labor. They plan to provide groceries consisting of instant rice, kimchi, convenience foods, and seasonal fruits, as well as replace old microwave ovens.

Baek Ju-seok, CEO of Javis & Villains, said, “This campaign achieved its donation goal thanks to the active participation of young people, who are Samzzumzzum’s main customers, confirming communication between the youth and seniors,” and added, “We will continue to carry out various campaigns to support low-income marginalized groups in blind spots.”
