Ultra-Station Area at Buam Station, Within Walking Distance to Seomyeon
Located Right Next to the Beomcheon Railroad Vehicle Maintenance Depot Site
Ssangyong Construction announced on the 4th that it will launch sales this spring for 'Ssangyong The Platinum Seomyeon,' a residential complex with a maximum height of 48 floors located in the ultra-station area of Buam Station on Line 2 in Bujeon-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan.
Ssangyong The Platinum Seomyeon will be developed on lot 677 in Bujeon-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan, comprising a total of 468 units including 432 apartment units (3 buildings) and 36 officetel units (1 building) with a maximum height of 48 floors. The apartment units for sale by type are △84㎡A 252 units △84㎡B 90 units △84㎡C 90 units, and the officetel units will be offered with an exclusive area of 84㎡ totaling 36 units.
Ssangyong The Platinum Seomyeon will directly benefit from the planned development project of the Beomcheon Railroad Vehicle Maintenance Depot site. The Beomcheon Railroad Vehicle Maintenance Depot site will be transformed into an ‘Urban Innovation Park’ that integrates the 4th industrial revolution and cultural contents, creating a leading domestic 4th industrial hub combining jobs, housing, culture, and tourism. Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) is currently soliciting private developers for the project.
The project site is equipped with key infrastructure that enhances real estate value, including transportation, convenience facilities, and education. It is located in the ultra-station area of Buam Station on Busan Subway Line 2, just one station away from Seomyeon Station (Lines 1 and 2), and three stations from the International Financial Center and Busan Bank Station, offering excellent urban accessibility. Bujeon Station, where KTX and Donghae Line trains stop, is also accessible.
Additionally, it connects directly to Seomyeon via Gayadaero and Sincheon-daero, and access to the Namhae Expressway Branch Line 2 is convenient when using the Dongseo Overpass. Once the Sasang-Haeundae underground highway (planned) is completed, it will be accessible from the Citizen Park IC (planned), and traffic dispersion effects on the Dongseo Overpass are also expected.
Located within the ‘Seomyeon Living Zone,’ Busan’s representative commercial district, residents can easily access the Seomyeon commercial area on foot. Lotte Department Store, Lotte Mart, and E-Mart Traders are also nearby. The Seomyeon Medical Street and On General Hospital, concentrated around Seomyeon Station, are conveniently accessible.
Educational conditions are also well established. Bujeon Elementary School is located within a 300-meter radius, and Seomyeon Middle School, Dongseong High School, Munhyeon Girls’ High School, and Gaya High School are nearby. Opposite the complex, Busan Global Village and Busan Mathematics Culture Center are in operation, and the academy district with entrance exam and language institutes concentrated in Seomyeon is easily accessible. Green spaces such as Busan Citizens Park and Palgeumsan Mountain are also close.
The complex’s exterior is designed with a curtain wall look (partially) at a maximum height of 48 floors. Visual interference between buildings is minimized, allowing for unobstructed views from the upper floors. All apartment units are 4-bay layouts with an exclusive area of 84㎡, providing ample interior space utilization. Various community facilities for residents, including a fitness center, GX room, daycare center, children’s playground, and care center, will also be provided.
A sales official stated, "With large-scale redevelopment projects underway throughout Busanjin-gu, led by the Beomcheon Railroad Vehicle Maintenance Depot site development, the transformation of Busan’s original downtown area is rapidly progressing. As this project embodies both symbolic and future value, we will devote ourselves to ensuring that residents can live here with pride."
