About 150 Employees, Including Department Heads, Division Chiefs, and Project Managers, Attend
Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 4th that it conducted a capacity-building training session for employees to secure national funding for 2026, attended by about 150 staff members including heads of departments, division chiefs, and project managers at the county office's main conference room.
This training was organized to understand the flow of government budget formulation and to learn the know-how of securing national funds. Seungdo Lee, Financial Cooperation Officer of Gyeongnam Province, who is also on secondment from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, was invited as the instructor.
Officer Lee provided detailed techniques necessary for securing national funds, including step-by-step response strategies according to the government budget formulation process, how to prepare project explanation materials, and negotiation know-how with the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the National Assembly Budget Office.
Meanwhile, Hamyang-gun secured 232 billion KRW in national and provincial funds for 2025, the largest amount ever, despite the government's sound fiscal policy. The county plans to focus administrative efforts on securing the budget by frequently visiting related ministries and the Ministry of Economy and Finance for next year's national fund acquisition.
