The high school soccer team that Sam, daughter of 'Golf Emperor' Tiger Woods (USA), belongs to has become the champion of Florida, USA.

The Benjamin High School girls' soccer team, where Sam plays, defeated Episcopal High School 1-0 in the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) 2A division final on the 2nd (local time). Sam played a key role as a defender in maintaining the winning goal until the end. Woods personally watched both the semifinal and final matches and shared the joy of victory with his daughter.

A video posted on a local newspaper website showed Woods cheering loudly with other players' parents in the stands, celebrating by high-fiving after the winning goal, and hugging his daughter after the match. In January, Sam also scored a header goal in the regional championship final.

Woods' son Charlie chose the path of a golf player early on, following his father, but his daughter Sam prefers soccer and is active as a soccer player. Instead, Sam served as her father's caddie at the family golf competition, the PNC Championship, in 2023 and last year.
