UK Prime Minister's Office to Host Emergency Meeting
in London with Leaders from 10 Countries
European leaders will discuss European security guarantees before and after the Ukraine conflict on the 2nd of next month. This emergency face-to-face meeting of European leaders is the third, following those held in Paris, France on the 17th and 19th.
On the 28th (local time), the UK Prime Minister's Office announced that UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer will host a meeting in London on March 2nd, inviting leaders from about 10 countries.

The UK Prime Minister's Office stated, "(This meeting) will serve as an opportunity to advance Europe's actions regarding Ukraine," adding, "It will demonstrate our collective and firm support for a fair and lasting peace that guarantees Ukraine's future sovereignty and security, as well as a sustainable agreement."
This meeting is expected to be a venue where French President Emmanuel Macron, who recently met with former President Donald Trump, and Prime Minister Starmer will explain the results of their visits to the United States to other leaders and discuss countermeasures.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who will return after signing a mineral agreement with President Trump on the 28th, will attend the meeting. Leaders from Germany, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, T?rkiye, Sweden, the Czech Republic, and Romania have also been invited. Additionally, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, European Council President Ant?nio Costa, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will attend.
The UK Prime Minister's Office said, "This meeting aims to reinforce discussions based on the Paris meetings," adding, "It will focus on strengthening Ukraine's current position through continued military support and economic pressure on Russia."
